What are morning rituals?
It’s easy to get into a routine and then every day feels and looks the same. The same tasks, the same people, the same feelings of boredom, uneventfulness, and something missing. All of us happen to fall into this kind of behavior sometimes and it is normal to feel that way from time to time. However, you may want to change that feeling and make your life so much better with some simple tricks. Do your best in the morning to start the day right and the whole day will look and feel different and satisfying.
Here’s what you can do:
Change the order of your morning tasks – reorder your regular routine. If the first thing you’ve been doing every morning is to make a coffee, put it at the end of the list. Same goes for checking your phone – postpone it as much as you can, even this is for only 15 minutes.
Say a prayer – it doesn’t have to be a long one, it can be quite a simple one-sentence positive wish that will give you something to hope for during the day. You can even write it down on a piece of paper and stick it to your bathroom mirror. Then read it every morning while you look at yourself in the mirror.
Wear your favorite jewelry – make a habit of putting on your favorite jewelry every morning. Not only will it make you feel better, it will also make you look better and shine. By wearing the same jewelry every day, you charge it with extra positive energy and it will also start bringing you luck when you need it the most – during stressful meetings and events.
Put on some color – wear colorful clothes. Details on your clothes in lovely yellow, green, or even red will make your day, and affect the mood of the people around you. They don’t need to be big or even on your clothes – it can be a bag in bright blue or a gold colored wrist watch. You will feel livelier and make a good and lasting impression on the people in your surroundings.
Greet the people in the street with a smile – and create positive energy and vibration. While walking to work, greet the people you meet with an honest smile and they will greet you back mirroring the positive energy back to you. This way you not only boost your mood before you even arrive at work, but you also create a chain of positive energy.
Start with small steps. You don’t have to do all of this every day, or even do all of this at all. Maybe just a simple personal one-sentence prayer while you’re still lying in your bed will be enough to make your day. Or a wearing a sky-blue blouse. It’s up to you to decide.
